Junior Chair position in "Systems of Systems - Cooperation and interaction between mobile systems”. Co-funded by the Labex MS2T, the Regional Council of Hauts-de-France and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), this chair aims at enhancing the international impact of the Labex MS2T by the attractiveness of International researchers on the Picardy territory. The holder of the Chair will participate in the development of this ambitious project integrating the three components of the Labex: Research, Training and Valorisation.

Research

Building on the platform of the laboratory and in particular, the Equipex Robotex platform, the holder of the Chair brings new skills to the Labex MS2T, particularly in the field of bio-inspired robotics adapted to mini-UAV fleets and autonomous vehicles technologies for which there are multiple applications and full development.

Training

The Chair holder will contribute to the ongoing Master program "Complex Systems in Interaction "(MSCI), which is backed by the Labex. He will also supervise some lab projects, as part of the training of engineers using experimental platforms. Finally, he will supervise PhD and Master students.

Valorisation
The Chair's development strategy is based on that of the Labex MS2T with, for example, the club of Affiliates (industrial partners), the organization of Specific sessions at the Summer School of Labex, international seminars, participation in new European projects H2020, or involvement in European challenges on systems-of-systems

Positioning with respect to the regional strategy

The theme of the Chair is in the continuity of axes supported by the Regional Council of Hauts-de-France, including the new regional specialization scheme (S3) initiated in 2014, in line with the axes of European program Horizon 2020. The Chair will address several regional issues such as developing emerging industries and the attractiveness of the territory through innovation.
