PhD

The PhD program of the Labex MS2T is hosted by the graduate school of the University of Technology of Compiègne.

PhD students may be hosted in Heudiasyc, BMBI, or Roberval laboratory, according to their main scientific field.
They have a privileged access to Labex ressources, including conferences, summer schools and travel grants.

 

 

Procedure for thesis selection:
The thesis system is implemented in close collaboration with the Doctoral School. It follows the following approach:

  • Call for subjects distributed internally
  • Interview of project sponsors by a selection committee
  • Distribution of subjects by the Doctoral School and Labex
  • Interview of PhD candidates according to the rules of the Doctoral School for better internal coordination at the UTC  (cross-disciplinary subjects between the UTC laboratories – of which at least one must be the research committee FR SHIC, comprised of the 3 Labex partner laboratories), a Labex selection committee was created and is comprised of: an extended Labex steering committee, Director of the Doctoral School, Research Director at the UTC (the people proposing the subjects do not participate in the commission’s work).
